MiniFill MF-1

The MiniFill range of auger fillers provide precision controlled dosing of small weights and volumes for laboratory, manually presented small container filling applications through to fully automated filling of containers, sachets and stick packs.

Up to 15 fillers can be controlled by one control panel, ths is ideal when mounting on multi-lane sachet & stickpack machines.

Round, Tubular or Narrow hopper options are available to suit any type of application.

Check weigher feedback, independent variable speed on both Auger and Stirrer motors, no tools strip down, Servo control resolution better than 1 in 4,000ths of a revolution, and PC link are all standard features included within all MF-I MiniFill machines.

Use of directly coupled advanced specification servo motors gives the optimum control and performance of filling accuracy.

This is especially true in applications where dosing at high speeds when integrated with high-speed sachet or stickpack machines. Here the 'MF-I MiniFill' excells above all others. The lack of clutches, brakes, belts and chains eliminates expendable items, and thus reduces maintenance to an absolute minimum.

The dose required is entered via the operator pod, and settings include the ability to optimise auger and stirrer speeds in order to obtain the best performance for individual products. On multi-lane applications, individual control of each auger & stirrer ensures maximum possible accuracy. This provides maximum control over product through each individual filling head and elliminates tha accuracy variations found on multiple heads with common drives supplied by some of the less specialist companies.

All machine parameters for a given product and speed are saved against a unique recipe number, thus providing quick and efficient changeover times from one product to another. All product codes (Recipes) can have fully descriptive titles, and an instant search facility is provided to index through preset recipes in the event of a large number being in use. The memory facility on the standard system allows users to preset a massive 1,024 different recipes, this is far more than would normally be required. All recipe settings are stored to a plugin 'Flash' memory card for maximum security of all machine / product data.

A tooling screen is available to the operator at all times, to advise on specific tooling requirements related to each set of product parameters.

When running in volumetric mode, the incredible stopping accuracy is better than 0.09 degrees of the auger rotation! This is achieved by the high specification drive system engineered around advanced servomotor and encoder.

The full colour touch screen control pod is both feature rich & 'State of the Art'. It is completely sealed against dust and liquids. Much effort & thought has been applied to ensure simple intuitive machine set-up and user friendliness.

Utilising a password protected engineer's facility, all machines are installed with standard software, with the precise machine configuration being factory set. This provides an excellent basis for customer support, with all control enhancements included at no extra cost, allowing for machine configurations to be changed, should additional equipment be incorporated at a later date. Use of flash memory & provision of PC link connector enables all machines to be easily and speedily upgraded with new functionality offered through our commitment to ongoing development, providing you with the peace of mind that the most advanced filler available today will also be the most advanced filler tomorrow.

All machines are manufactured to a very high standard in 316 stainless steel.

MiniFill auger fillers are high quality, high performance machines for applications where optimum accuracy of small discharges is required with manual & medium to high speed requirements, but still maintaining ease of set-up and user friendliness.

As with all GWA auger filling machines, models are available for both volumetric & weight controlled filling, with fill ranges from a few milligrams to 500g. MiniFill machines are capable of discharge rates of over 100 fills per minute.

MF-I MiniFill' High performance Servo driven Auger fillers specifically designed for Stickpack & Sachet filling applications where a multiple of dosing heads are required on close centres. Filling heads can be mounted on 80mm centres with configurations available from a single head up to 10 filling heads, all with individual filling adjustment and feed-back facilities, controlled from a single panel. These fillers are aimed at all powder & granular applications requiring very precise & controlled filling at maximum speed.

‘EasiFill’ EF-III/PB Gravimetric Siamese Auger filler

Featuring direct drive servo system for use in automatic bag / box presentation machines

The design shown is for use with a Vertical form Fill & seal machine where accurate weighing of portions is required to maintain productivity and remove the requirement of Re-Work. Each discharge is dynamically weighed during filling to ensure exact weight, and discharged alternatively from two filling points, into a collection tube with timing flap. This timing flap reduces the possibility of dust in the sealing area & enables good speed with accuracy on difficult to handle products such as food & Bakery ingredients.

As each portion is weighed, statistical data can be sent via an Ethernet connection to a networked PC or server reference & traceability. Data includes production speed, throughput KG, Batch Size, Standard Deviation, Average weight, min & max weight, no of discharges & CP (Control process data CP CPk+ CPk-). A high resolution colour touch screen continually shows the status of the machine, the weights of each discharged portion and current batch & shift filling statistics.

Recipe recall & bulk product feed set up can also be stored to a Bar code and subsequently selected using bar code reader. This ensures machine set-up integrity without the worry of human error.

The equipment displayed is capable of, but not limited to:-

Making weighed portions from 500 gram to 5000 gram.
Portions above 2500 gram based on double discharge, i.e. both weigh-pans.

- Capacities guaranteed to be:

  • 25-30 portions/minute at 500 – 1500 gram
  • 20-25 portions/minute at 1501 – 2000 gram
  • 15-20 portions/minute at 2001 – 2500 gram
  • 10-12 portions/minute at 2501 – 5000 gram
